What is a cheap healthy and nutritious puppy food?

I am buying a puppy and need a puppy food that is cheap but good for a puppy and i am 14 so no rude comments.

Answer: Cheap, healthy, and nutritious do not belong in the same sentence. If it’s cheap, it isn’t going to be healthy or nutritious. Feed your puppy a high quality food. (I hope you’re acquiring your puppy through a reputable breeder). Read more of this post

What is a very healthy and cheap puppy food?

I feed my puppy purina puppy chow, which im hearing is unhealthy. Its also so hard for me to make him eat it. I would have to smuther it in treats for him to eat. I get a big bag of purina for 14 dollars. Whats a very healthy and cheap puppy food that i can get in a big bag that ny dog will like to eat?

Answer: Can you find a place that sells Diamond Dog Food? Diamond or Diamond Naturals are much better foods than Puppy Chow. If you’re buying your food at Wal-Mart, you could try the Maxximum Lamb & Rice-it’s not a really good food, but it’s the best at that store. If your family has a CostCo membership, their Kirkland brand is good, but don’t make that let you believe that the Sam’s Club brand is edible, though-it’s NOT good food. Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul is a good one that is reasonably priced, and Canidae is a great choice. Healthwise is another to look into (it’s what I would choose in the lower priced foods). Best (healthy) food for a Silky Terrier Puppy?

Hi everyone!
With all the food recalls and learning so much more about dog food, my boyfriend and I want to change our puppy’s food. The breeder we got him from was feeding him Purina Puppy Chow, which we are not happy with! We want to change him to a different/better food but want to pick the best one. He is a healthy puppy with no known allergies, but he has dry skin and one of his ears doesn’t always stand up. We would also prefer to use dry food.
So if there are any vets out there who have a recommendation for the best food for him, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks so much in advance!

What kind of healthy puppy food should my puppy eat?

I have a 6 month old Pomeranian who weighs 10 pounds. He eats his puppy mix but doesn’t really seem fond of it. He really enjoys his Cesar canine cuisine which i give him and eats it instantly but it is too expensive. Any suggestions? I’ve already tried Purina puppy chow mix and pedigree puppy chow mix.

Answer: Even though puppy chow and pedigree are cheaper – they’re expensive if your dog won’t eat it and you end up throwing it away. So, you don’t necessarily have to feed him Cesar’s Canine Cuisine, but there are lots of quality dog foods out there to choose from. Such as Canidae, Wellness, Taste of the Wild, INNOVA, Blue Buffalo, etc. You may have to pay a little more, but your dog will be getting the protein and minerals he needs instead of a bunch of grains and cereals that will leave him unsatisfied and which he may be allergic to. Many dogs have allergies to all the grains in the cheaper dog foods. Buy a quality dog food that he will eat and you’ll be ahead in the long run – both financially and your dog’s health.
