I need some bird food recipes

I just went to the store and- oops!- forgot the birdseed. Does anybody have any birdseed recipes made from stuff I have around the house?

What is the best kind of bird food to have for a New England bird feeder?

I want to start a bird feeder this summer but I am not sure what kind of bird food I should be using to attract birds that actually live around here. Which type of bird food would be best for a New England resident trying to attract birds other than sparrows?

Answer: The part of the country does not matter much as for which type of bird seed you use. There are many website to help you with feeding the birds so it is best to let you look at those. It is very enjoyable pastime to feed the birds and I know you will love it.
